Position Overview
Pantheon Data is seeking an organized and proactive Desktop Support Technician with a background in Office 365 administration. A successful candidate should be detail-oriented with a history of fixing daily technical issues involving IT hardware, Microsoft 365, Windows OS, iOS and Android.
Responsibilities
- Be able to diagnose and solve Tier 1 help desk tickets
- Be fluent in Microsoft 365 deployments on Windows, iOS and Android devices
- Manage User devices in Microsoft Endpoint
- Provide first point of contact support for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or through the IT Ticketing system
- Provide restorative or maintenance actions to resolve end-user problems
- Respond to end-user problems based on standard operating procedures
- Must correctly track incidents and calls, including but not limited to entering data into the database timely and accurately
- Onboarding/Offboarding new staff members for remote and onsite meetings
Requirements
- 1-2 years of equivalent work experience in Desktop Support or IT Home Projects
- Entry level IT certifications CompTIA A+ or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- Autonomous, problem-solving attitude
- Professional experience in a technological field
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized
- Experience with installation/setup of printers, workstations, and peripherals
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Need to be able to work a scheduled shift during 8AM-5PM EST working hours
Preferred Skills
- Office 365 Administration
- Experience with CMMC policies and compliance in relation to 365 offerings
- Excellent customer service skills and experience supporting executive staff
- Prior Software Application support (e.g. Exchange, etc.) experience is a plus
- Experience working for a government contractor is a plus
- Network +, Security +, Microsoft's endpoint administration
Clearance Requirements
U.S. citizenship required - must be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
