Mission Support Analyst

KGI was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the U.S. Coast Guard. KGI has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal agencies. Position Overview:

KGI is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Candidate to support The Federal Protective Service (FPS) in the area of Mission Support throughout its Headquarters Executive Management Office and Divisions staff and Regional Offices. The preferred candidate will have a BA Degree and experience working with DHS/DHS. The right candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to see the bigger picture while proving their ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
• Development, calibration, and sustainment of all Investigation Division (ID) programs (e.g., Investigative metrics)
• Serve as the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) administrator for all FPS users, and external stakeholders, and coordinate access and content management
• Support FPS agents with updated departmental documentation

• Produce reports, flowcharts, slide decks for major projects, etc.
• Serve as a liaison for special events and advise/facilitate special projects
• Apply a wide range of administrative programs concepts, laws, policies, practices, and analytical methods to address technical issues or problems.
• Provide advisory and technical services on organizational functions and work practices
• Develop new or modified administrative program work methods and procedures for delivering effective services to customers
• Develop and deliver briefings, project papers, reports, and correspondence to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Requirements:

This position requires a BA/BS Degree and 8 years of experience. Background with working at FPS or at least DHS would be preferred.
