DHA Overview
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the Army, Navy, and Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force and a ready medical force to Combatant Commands during peacetime and wartime. Established to enhance the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high-quality health services, the DHA supports Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries and drives the integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS. The agency plays a pivotal role in ensuring military personnel and their families receive comprehensive healthcare, thus maintaining operational readiness and overall force health protection.
Position Overview
Are you a seasoned and meticulous Policy Analyst eager to play a pivotal role in the Agile release management lifecycle of innovative solutions and products? We are actively seeking a highly proficient individual to join our team, taking a dynamic role in the support, coordination and management of releases across our enterprise projects. In this role, you will support the Agile lifecycle, ensuring seamless coordination, policy alignment and business efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, develop and implement policies and procedures as needed.
- Conduct research and analysis to support policy development and decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure policy and strategic alignment.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented policies and procedures.
- Work directly with internal and external stakeholders, including senior staff and department managers, to ensure successful translation of requirements into high-quality product deliverables.
- Track action items and actively identify and mitigate risks.
- Define and document acceptance criteria.
- Conduct release readiness reviews, release events, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go decisions.
- Formulate and translate user or functional requirements and mission needs into technical terminology and specifications.
- Maintain the release schedule and program road map for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and programs.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 10+ years relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3-5 + years of professional, hands-on experience as an analyst.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business, technical requirements for policy alignment.
- Ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear and concise requirements.
- Expertise in process mapping and workflow analysis.
- Proficiency in using requirements management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively, with shifting priorities.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, organized and a good problem solver.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with the DoD, Military Health System (MHS) and the DHA is highly desired.
- Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Demonstrated experience applying Agile software practices or software development lifecycle.
- Active DoD CAC or Active DoD Clearance.

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $130,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
