Program Analyst

The Kenific Group, Inc. (KGI) is a private, small business based in the Washington, DC, area. KGI was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. KGI has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

Position Overview:

The Kenific Group is seeking a mid-level Program Analyst to plan and provide analytical support for facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, business management techniques, and organizational development. The Program Analyst will support DHS business process improvements and modernization projects. Will work closely with program management staff and uses knowledge of internal and external department processes further to develop strategies for efficient execution of program activities. Key responsibilities include developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements.

Responsibilities:

• Develops methods to modernize program activities, such as improving shared virtual workspaces, including SharePoint and MS Teams.
• Liaison between the program and stakeholders to facilitate program and project administrative and financial processes.
• Manages program team calendar and schedules meetings and training with internal and external personnel.
• Tracks deadlines for program tasks/reports/updates.
• Assists with data calls and the generation of periodic financial and performance reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years of program analyst experience.
• Ability to prepare management, business, technical, and personnel reports, reviews, and documents for internal and external use.
• Experience working in a federal government environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in a related field such as Business Administration or Management or equivalent work experience

Clearance Requirements:

• US. citizenship required
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
