Position Overview

KGI has a need for a Senior Technical Program Manager to support our federal client. This person will be responsible for leading and directing all aspects of client delivery and organic contract growth for an assigned client group. This role requires a strategic mindset and strong business acumen to establish and implement the overall business development direction and goals. The position will focus on customer interaction, teaming approach, technical differentiation, and contracting solution strategies to drive growth and achieve long-term strategic objectives. This position also involves financial analysis, scenario planning, forecasting, and establishing best practices to deliver high-quality products at desired profit margins. Effective communication and collaboration with support areas and operations are crucial to meet business development goals and promote KGI's capabilities and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct aspects of business development activities and initiatives for assigned client group.
• Establish and maintain the overall business development direction and goals.
• Drive growth through customer interaction, teaming approach, technical differentiation, and contracting solution strategies.
• Provide leadership in financial analysis, scenario planning, forecasting, and alignment with long-term strategic plans.
• Establish best practices for delivering high-quality products at desired profit margins.
• Identify potential business opportunities and partners to grow revenue and operating income.
• develop initiatives to penetrate, and analyze business opportunities.
• Establish effective communication with support areas and operations to meet business development goals.
• Promote company capabilities and qualifications to assigned client group.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the pipeline.
• Develop opportunity capture strategies and support their execution.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field
• 10+ years of experience acting as a Technical Program Management or similar activities with the federal government
• Prior experience increasing sales and managing contracts in the range of $20M
• Ability to develop and implement tactical and strategic plans, goals, and objectives
• Strong relationship-building and business development skills
• Advanced knowledge of assigned client group, including key contacts, decision-makers, and decision-making processes
• Strong organization, planning, and communication skills

Clearance Requirements

U.S. citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
